White Out the Whitt Brings Massive Crowds to Weekend Sweep of Maine
Energized sellouts fuel Wildcats to lopsided victories over rival

Back-to-back boisterous sellout crowds and two dominant UNH victories over rival Maine made for a memorable White Out the Whitt weekend at UNH, as the Whittemore Center was filled to capacity Friday and Saturday night. The UNH men's hockey team handed Maine defeats of 6-2 and 5-2, respectively, in front of the Wildcat faithful. It was just the second White Out the Whitt event since 2019, as a combination of COVID and Hockey East conference scheduling changes conspired to sideline the event for a few years. But a tradition that began in 1999 returned as strong as ever last year and the momentum certainly didn't stop this winter. Check out a full gallery of photos from last Friday's battle.
